Is God calling your church to serve in Haiti? Not sure exactly what that looks like or even where to start? HIM Haiti has been hosting short term mission teams for almost 30 years. Without the support of international church partners, HIM Haiti would not be where it is today. The first step to getting involved by serving with us in Haiti is to take a Vision Trip to see what would be the best fit for your church or organization.
What is a vision trip?
A vision trip is a short visit to Pignon, Haiti to see first hand what God is doing through HIM Haiti. You will get to experience the ministry at all three areas: education, life skills training, and economic growth. You will also be able to meet and spend time with Caleb Lucien, founder of HIM Haiti, and his family as well as attend their church. The main goal of this trip is to see how your church or organization can best serve alongside HIM Haiti. What gifts and talents can your people bring on a short term mission trip? By the end of the vision trip you will have your plan ready for your first short-term mission trip.
Who comes on a vision trip?
The team should be small, around 2 – 4 people. Those coming should be leaders of your church or organization and/or involved in missions on some level.
Contact Sarah Leonhardi at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule your vision trip! Dates for these trips are usually pre-determined based on Caleb’s schedule.
